Testimonials...
"Lynne was the absolute best to work with! She was everything we could have hoped or asked for; easy going, friendly, fun, creative, unobtrusive, and most of all professional. We interviewed so many photographers and all approached us as if they were making a business deal rather than helping us to capture the magic of our once in a lifetime day. Unlike all the other photographers we
knew instantly that Lynne's out going personality and love of photography would shine through in her work. Her promptness in returning the photographs was unprecedented. Only days after our wedding she took the time to meet with us and review all of our pictures and also talk, laugh and just enjoy a cup of coffee. It was truly a pleasure working with Lynne, not only for ourselves but for our families as well!" ~Anne & Steve Lake ~
~Within the first minute of speaking with Lynne, I knew that we made the right choice in choosing our wedding photographer. She was extremely easy to work with, and tried very hard to make documenting our wedding an enjoyable experience. Her pricing was extremely competitive, and the results were phenomenal. During the wedding and reception she was constantly moving about, capturing every detail of our special day. Her photos ranged from rich portraits to very artsy candid shots. Most of all, I was impressed with her ability to expertly utilize the color of our surroundings. It's hard to believe that the wedding could have been close to as beautiful as the images Lynne captured. Overall, I was very impressed with the entire Lynne Townsend photography experience, and will definitively be recommending her to friends. ~Colemann and Krystina Rusch

I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great photographer for any special event." ~Megan and Peter Lanier
~“Having photos taken of oneself or one’s family is not always the easiest or most pleasurable activity. We were so grateful for Lynne's patience, vision, good
humor, and professionalism in handling the various personalities in our family group."And the photos, We’ve never looked better.”

"We couldn’t have been happier with our wedding pictures. Lynne captured every moment of our special day! The colors are better than we could have ever imagined and we’ve already framed several of the shots. Lynne was also a great photographer to work with and everyone was very impressed by her outgoing personality and energy. We have beautiful pictures to look back on for years to come reminding us of our special day." ~Lindsay Lundy
My
friend Carol and I have been dabbling in photography for the past five
or six years. We both had a deep desire to learn how to capture that
"perfect" shot and learn how to use our cameras better. After taking multiple classes we found we were as confused as ever about .....a lot of things... but particularly aperture exposure.Last
summer we had the good fortune to schedule a private class with Lynne
Townsend from Boone, NC. We met in the most beautiful location at Mose
Cone Park on the Blue Ridge Parkway. Lynn did a wonderful job of
unraveling the mystery of aperture
exposure as well as shutter speed, not to mention a few other helpful
tips. We appreciated how Lynn modeled and explained things in a way
that was easy to understand. There were limitless opportunities to
practice in the mountains of North Carolina. Great teacher, great
location!
